    The Art Director is expected to develop innovative content for all regional activity, from concept through execution. As a Art Director, you will partner with the Creative Team to concept, create and execute the content for integrated campaigns (digital, social, print), ensuring quality, engaging messaging for our client. 

You should be fluent with all digital media and how they impact our audience. It also helps to have experience creating content for current Social Media platforms; especially Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram. The purpose of this position is to perform the day-to-day activities associated with graphic design in the studio by producing creative, high quality artwork in a timely and cost effective manner.  


    • Partner with copywriters and other creative team members to generate breakthrough concepts that meet and exceed the requirements of the creative brief
    • Lead and motivate a creative team to develop and deliver integrated projects on time and budget
    • Establish and develop design solutions in accordance with brand equities, project concepts, copy, and technical requirements and specifications.
    • Manage, mentor and supervise Art Directors and Junior Art Directors
    • Serve as a technical and creative resource for the team, assist in the resolution of design challenges and problems
    • Be self-motivated with a positive attitude and have strong communications skills
    • Ensure design solutions are vetted and approved by the technical and production teams
    • Assist with creative resourcing and staffing plans
    • Write and conduct performance appraisals
    • Stay current on visual design techniques and software tools
    • Promote concepts using the latest techniques and technologies to build and expand Y&R/Bravo’s reputation as a leader in digital solutions
    • Identify, engage and manage vendors and specialists, such as artists and photographers, as needed.
    • Be attuned to and knowledgeable of societal and cultural trends


    We’d love it if you had:

    • Degree in graphic design, visual communications or a related field
    • 2-5 years professional advertising, interactive or multimedia experience
    • Knowledge of the Caribbean Islands culture or has worked with this market
    • Excellent design and typography skills
    • Proficiency in major design and page layout software programs (PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator)
    • Strong working knowledge of HTML, Flash, CSS and other common technologies
    • Have an interest in social and cultural trends and stay up to speed on emerging digital technologies
