  • Overview

    Responsible for department processes and various financial functions related to clients and agency.

    Responsibilities


    • Supervise Accounting Coordinator and personnel, and related issues such as vacation schedules, timesheet approvals, absenteeism and performance appraisals.

    • Oversee client related vendor payables and receivables.

    • Review Open Jobs Reports and expedite completion.

    • Maintain profiles in Donovan system such as work codes, income codes, and client files through SFS NY.

    • Assist finance leadership with general ledger issues, monthly financial closing, and client related accounting issues.

    • Liaise with Account Management on client requirement, request, billing and payment problems.

    • Ensure client reports are accurately completed in a timely manner.

    • Review month-end reports and account reconciliations and take appropriate action if needed.

    • Monthly revenue analysis, accruals and reporting.

    • Revenue Budgeting and Forecasting.

    • Maintain archiving of financial records.

    • Generate, analyze and distribute income reports on a regular basis.

    • Recommend measures to improve work process methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.

    • Coordinate audits as required by ISO, SOX, WPP, Clients, and 3rd party audit firms.

    • All other duties as assigned 


     

    Qualifications

    We’d love it if you had:



    • Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting, Finance or Business.

    • Strong written/verbal communication skills.

    • Strong financial analysis skills.

    • Advanced Excel Skills.

    • A minimum of five (5) years financial/accounting/business experience.

    • Strong managerial skills.

    • Have physical and mental requirements to meet the above listed job responsibilities.
